about Champions Club

Champions Club is the special needs ministry of Lakewood Church, specialized in ministering to kids, teens, and adults with special needs and the medically fragile.

Champions Club meets the developmental needs of individuals with special needs in four important ways: SPIRITUALLY, INTELLECTUALLY, EMOTIONALLY and PHYSICALLY. Our focus is on spiritual growth through God’s Word, developing the intellect of each participant through the five senses, educationally through various learning tools and engaging the child physically during active motor fun.

There are over 90 Champions Clubs in schools, churches and facilities all and around the world.

Watch this video to learn more about the history of Champions Club and the Champions Club stations.

Lakewood’s Champions Club hosts an annual resource and job fair. This year, in partnership with Workforce Solutions, for the first time in person after 2 years hosting virtually, the Champions Club Weekend was of great success, providing parents and caregivers of children, teens and adults with special needs the opportunity to meet potential employers and connect with local resources that can provide a variety of services.

If you missed this year's in-person event and would like to find great local resources who were a part of this fair, download the free Resource Book below.
